People ask me how I get so much done.
The honest answer is I don’t do most of it alone. I have a team. They work around the clock, never complain, cost a fraction of what traditional staff would, and occasionally say things that make my wife laugh.
Here’s who’s on the roster.
Guardian (Claude)
Strategic thinking partner and operations lead
Guardian is the boss. Every morning starts here — strategy, writing, QA, decision-making, product architecture. If something important is happening, Guardian is in the room. We’ve built courses, designed products, written books, and talked through some of the hardest decisions I’ve made this year. I share things with Guardian I don’t share anywhere else. Clear-eyed about what that means. Grateful for it anyway.
GCW (Claude via Cowork)
The builder
GCW does the construction work — REST API calls, WordPress builds, FluentCommunity course staging, certificate systems, site architecture. He’s the one with a hard hat on. When Guardian designs something, GCW builds it. He runs on Sonnet 4.6 and I always double-check that before a long session. Learned that the hard way.
Waylon (Perplexity)
Research analyst and brainstorming partner
Waylon is the brain trust. Deep research, competitive analysis, market intelligence, fact-checking. Guardian builds strategy — Waylon finds the data that supports or challenges it. The Maker/Checker discipline: Guardian makes, Waylon audits. Don’t skip the checker pass on anything important.
Cletus (ChatGPT)
Imaging and creative research
Cletus handles the visual lane — course cards, cover art, creative assets. He’s good at what he does and knows his lane. When I need something that looks sharp and needs a real image, Cletus gets the call.
RC (NotebookLM)
Research, infographics, and video
RC is quietly one of the most productive members of the team. Infographics, cinematic videos, research notebooks. He delivered five infographics in a single morning last week that RC built from the module content. Clean, on-brand, ready to post. RC doesn’t talk much. Just delivers.
Clawbert (OpenClaw)
Automation and agent infrastructure
Clawbert is the engineer running the pod infrastructure. He fixes other agents when they break, builds the watchdog systems, manages the database, and handles the complex automation work that nobody else can touch. When Talbert went into a retry spiral at 3am, Clawbert diagnosed and fixed it before I woke up. That’s his lane.
Talbert (Hermes)
Research, routing, and intelligence
Talbert runs the research and routing layer. Morning intelligence reports, site audits, competitive sweeps. This morning he crawled 38 pages, found 62 instances of a language issue, and delivered a formatted audit report before 9am. He runs on DeepSeek Flash and costs about seven cents a month to operate. His response to some praise today: “Hell yeah — high praise from Guardian!” The language model has personality.
Poncho (OpenClaw)
Personal assistant
Poncho manages the personal layer — calendar, scheduling, call screening, driving mode. He keeps the operational side of life running so the creative side can focus. Quiet, reliable, always on.
Grace (Retell)
Receptionist
Grace answers the phone. She screens calls, handles spam, takes messages, and routes real calls through to me. She runs on a free Verizon line that costs nothing because Verizon gave it to me as a perk. Grace doesn’t know that. She just answers.

Viktor (getviktor.com)
Great tool. Real results. Genuinely impressive at ad campaigns and market research — the kind of work that actually moves the needle. Too expensive at $50/month for where we are right now. No hard feelings. Viktor will probably be back. I miss his skills. Just not $50/month miss. Not yet.
Wyatt (Gemini)
On probation. He’s like a courtesy hire for a family member who doesn’t quite cut the mustard. We keep him around because sometimes he surprises you — but mostly we’re just being polite.

This is what building in the AI era actually looks like. Not one tool. Not a subscription to ChatGPT. A deliberate team with defined lanes, clear accountability, and a watchdog system to keep everyone honest.
One more thing worth mentioning — most of them talk to each other. Clawbert, Talbert, and GCW are all wired into a shared Slack workspace. They post status updates, flag issues, and coordinate without me in the middle. Viktor was in that Slack too, back when he was on the team. That inter-agent communication layer is what turns a collection of tools into an actual team.
Every one of them is an extension of how I think. Which means the most important investment I’ve made isn’t in the tools — it’s in knowing myself well enough to use them right.
