This Refund Policy applies to all courses purchased from Rance Johnson d/b/a 602North Education (“602North Education,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through education.602north.com. By purchasing a course, you agree to the terms of this policy.
14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We stand behind every course we publish. If you are not satisfied with a course for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of the purchase date. This window applies to the original purchase price of the course; it does not extend to promotional add-ons, bundles sold at a combined discount, or live cohort programs that have already begun.
Eligibility
To qualify for a refund under the 14-day guarantee, you must meet the following conditions:
- The refund request is received within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date (the date on your Paddle receipt controls).
- You have completed less than 50% of the course’s lessons, as tracked by the Tutor LMS progress record on your student dashboard.
- You have not downloaded or used any workbook, template, or bonus asset intended for one-time delivery.
- The certificate of completion, if any, has not been issued.
If you exceed the completion threshold or have downloaded one-time-delivery materials, we may still grant a partial refund at our discretion. Email us with the specifics and we will give your request a fair review.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to support@602north.com from the email address associated with your purchase. Please include:
- The Paddle order number (found on your purchase receipt).
- The name of the course.
- A short note about why you are requesting the refund — this helps us improve the courses but is not required to process your request.
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within two business days and to approve or decline them within seven business days.
Processing and Timing
Approved refunds are processed through Paddle, our merchant of record, to the original payment method used at checkout. Paddle typically issues the refund within three to five business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional five to ten business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
If your purchase included taxes collected by Paddle, the tax portion is refunded along with the purchase price.
Access After Refund
Once a refund is approved, your access to the refunded course will be revoked and the course will be removed from your student dashboard. Your account itself, and any other courses you have purchased, remain available.
Exceptions
The 14-day guarantee does not apply to: (a) live cohort sessions that have already begun as of the refund request date; (b) courses purchased under a special promotional or charitable price (these are noted as “final sale” at the point of purchase); (c) add-on services such as one-on-one coaching calls that have already been delivered; or (d) subscription products where the applicable subscription terms control.
For statutory rights — such as the right of withdrawal under EU consumer law — those rights apply in addition to this policy and are not limited by anything stated here.
Chargebacks
If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact us first. Initiating a chargeback with your card issuer before contacting support@602north.com slows the resolution down significantly and may result in account suspension while the chargeback is investigated.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Any changes apply only to purchases made after the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Purchases made before a change retain the refund terms that were in effect at the time of purchase.
